Clapping

Cooper starting clapping today. As with any of his other newfound skills, he claps at anything and everything and for any reason.

Dancing

Cooper likes to “groove to the music”. When we sing to him, play him a song, or play one of his musical toys, he likes to bounce and bob around.

Crawling

Cooper is finally on the move! After weeks of trying to figure out crawling and ending up going backwards, he is now able to move forwards with skill and determination =)

"6 Month" Appointment

Cooper had his “6 month” checkup today…even though he is almost 7 months old. He received his latest vaccinations and also got the flu shot. He weighed in at 17lbs 15oz and 26 inches long!

Sitting Up and Eating

Cooper is now sitting up on his own and rolling over both ways. He started eating rice cereal at 5 months and oatmeal at 5 1/2 months…he’s growing so fast!

Skin Tags

Cooper had his skin tags removed today. It was a relatively short procedure that only required a local anesthetic…but that didn’t stop Coop from screaming his head off. We have a follow up appointment in 6 weeks with the doctor.

Rolling Over

Cooper rolled over by himself for the first time tonight…he was so excited with his new trick that he did it about 5 more times! He rolled over from his stomach onto his back on his left side.

Craniofacial Panel

Today we started our meetings with the Sutter Craniofacial Panel. We met with a pediatric speech-language pathologist, a pediatric nurse, a pediatric nutritionist, a social worker, and a geneticist. We will eventually go back and meet with a panel of doctors who will then get together and discuss Coopers case. The meetings went really well…the […]
